Hello Marg, Yes, that was a great find from Penne with respect to Frederick's death record. Penne also sent me some links to a couple of newspaper articles that suggested that the recently deceased Frederick resided at Duchess Street in Busselton. Just as a matter of interest, why do you believe that Charlotte died in Busselton in 1937? From the Western Australia BMD link you sent I see a death registered for a Charlotte Whitmore in the district of 'Sussex' in 1938. I realise that Busselton is in the 'Sussex' registration district, but I do wonder how you made the jump. Regardless, I do believe you're correct regarding Charlotte. Looking at the 'Australian Electoral Rolls, 1903-1980' index on Ancestry I see that a Frederick William Whitmore and a (married) Charlotte Whitmore were living on Duchess Street in the sub-district of 'Sussex', I have found records from 1916 to 1936. I can't find an exact match for a marriage in Western Australia, but I do see this record: REDHEAD CHARLOTTE Female WHITEMORE FREDERICK W Male PERTH 631 1914 It looks like I need to start ordering some birth and marriage certificates to see if there is any valuable information.
