Hello List I've received a lot of help regarding my recent search for my Australian relatives, but I still have problems with the following Raymond WEBB b. 1919 Father - Arthur WEBB 1885-1959 Mother - Florence Elizabeth RANKIN 1890-1971 The family lived in and around the Sydney area so I assume this is where Raymond was born, but I have no other details regarding his life, residence, marriage, children etc. If anyone can help then that would be much appreciated. Dear Rob, The Birth records for New South Wales are not publicly available for 1919, which creates a problem for you. By looking at www.ryersonindex.org I found that there is an Arthur WEBB died in BELMORE and a notice published in the Sydney Morning Herald on 8 May, 1959. Also on the same website Florence WEBB died at BELMORE with her notice published in the same paper on 7 July, 1971. Each noticed should show Raymond as a child, and on the same site you may well find his Death amongst the 3.5 million entries there. To get the wording of the notices there is an icon on the main page "Requesting a Lookup" and from there one of the volunteers will send you the details. You may find a marriage for Raymond on the NSW BDM website, but without supporting information you may pick the wrong one.
