Dear List I have tried and failed to find out when Arthur WEBB b. 1885 Oldbury Worcestershire, emigrated to Australia. I know that his parents and siblings remained in GB so assume he went there alone. He married Florence Elizabeth RANKIN at Casino NSW in 1907 and she was born in Australia. I'd like to know the vessel and date of his arrival which I again assume was Sydney. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Regards Rob Halesowen GB

A Mr A WEBB ,bricklayer b 1884. on the Damascus which dep London 2 Aug 1904 and a Mr Webb b 1885 , no occ stated, dep Southampton on the Riverina 10 Oct 1905 If you haven't already done so could be worth checking in the passenger arrival indexes on Qld State Archives web site . Casino is in northern NSW away from the coast. They only had one child, Elsie J in 1907 , Casino . Did they leave Australia?
