Dear Joy, Thank you very much for your kind reply and for looking up the names. It is possible that they changed their Surname. I shall certainly keep it in mind. I found that they had a son Edwin Keith Forth registered here in Wellington in 1893 and sent for his Birth Certificate. It stated that both parents were born in Sydney and married there in 1885. Looking at these 2 dates it would be likely that Edwin Keith was not their first child. Thank you again. I did find 1 child with the surname FORD with parents Edwin and Mary. He was born 1887. The only 2 marriages I found for an Edwin FORD to a Mary, were Mary AYRES and Mary JACKSON. I then looked in the Victorian CD and found no children for an Edwin FORTH and a Mary. Where did you get your information from please?
