Dear Jill, If a will was left then the original will is contained in the Probate Packet. Should you try to get a will from the Supreme Court, I think you will find all they do is call the Probate Packet back from State Records, copy the will and send it out to the applicant. On the other hand if no will was left any living relative can apply to share in the estate and in that case they make an affidavit as to how they are related.
