Richard BROWN was born c.1824-1825, the 4th child of convict John BROWN (Ann 2 1810) and Elizabeth WINCH. According the the 1828 Census his older siblings were John, William, Jane & Elizabeth and he had a younger brother George. If Richard's siblings were anywhere as useful in populating the colony as he was there must be so many descendants I have would like to make contact with. Richard married 1) Margaret DUIGAN 1845 Issue: Harriett, Sarah (died as infant), Jane, George Married 2) Margaret MUNRO 1855 Issue: Emily Maud, John, Elizabeth, Hannah, Thomas, James, Richard and David (died as infant). I know of the children of Emily Maud and Elizabeth and have worked out some details of the others . Who out there has any connection with my BROWN line? Surely with such a tribe there must be at least another descendant interested in the family history? Joan
