It is a shame about the state of the inner city I agree, but not much we can do about it. 1. [ANS] Balmain Catholic cemetery Cemetery

    3. Hi Listers There has been quite a few messages about cemeteries lately and I thought I would put my threepenneth worth into the mix For some years now I have been slowly recreating the burial register for the long disappeared Balmain Catholic cemetery, for which regretably the burial register is also lost. The cemetery was bounded by Allan, William and Elswick Sts in Leichhardt and should not be confused with the nearby cemetery in Norton St. Leichhardt, which is now known as Pioneer Park. I would love to hear from anyone who has someone buried at the Balmain Catholic cemetery or from anyone who has information about re-interments from this place to another cemetery heres hoping Patrick Callaghan
