Hello Marg, Thank you for your help. Harry Forsyth SOPWITH was William's younger brother. I should be able to search the Sydney Morning Herald at our State library. You have given me the date 1976 for Harry's death. Do you also have the dates for William & Ella Sopwith's deaths? I had a look at the death notice for Harry Forsyth SOPWITH but dont know enough about this family to know if he is related or not : end If you go to that web site, the Ryerson newspaper deaths indexes, it will give you both date of death and date of publication of the notice and how to get a look up done........ Up to you whether to use this service or go to the Qld SL and look up the SMH films yourself This web site is supported by many volunteers . Some do indexing from the various newspapers, other have CDs of scans of quite a few years of the SMH . I have CDs of scans from the SMH 1976 and 1977 .
