    3. Hi MargM Thanks for such a prompt reply. I have now found the "Hugh Walker" on in the Shipping Gazette 10 Oct 1853 it is under "Ships in Harbour. All it says is "Hugh Walker, ship 496 tons, Mackie, at Circular Wharf, Ilow & Walker and Co Agents" Can I assume (I hate doing that) that it would have been a Cargo ship and MACKIE was the Captain? This shipping business is all new to me. Thanks Lynne SA -------Original Message------- From: MargM Date: 27/09/2006 7:35:48 AM To: Lynne Thompson; AUS-NSW-SYDNEY@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [ANS] Unassisted Passage ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lynne Thompson" <netty@picknowl.com.au> To: <AUS-NSW-SYDNEY@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2006 5:40 AM Subject: [ANS] Unassisted Passage Hi Lynne > Has anyone ever seen an "Unassisted Passage" record, do > they have as much > information as the "Assisted Passage" records?. > No...............
