Either her name , year and place of registration or a combination of , is wrong Do you have her death and marriage certs ? If so what info do these docs give ? > No...........all we have is......... > Elsie Maude Baker...b1889...m...Eric Kendall Robertson > b1895....she was m to Charles Frederick Ralph > before...... the info gathered was on her gravestone in > Rookwood Cemetery....she died 4/1/1963, Eric Kendall > died 10/7/1959 Dot You need some paper work in the form of BDM certs or transcriptions I dunno where you get born Waterloo from ...... Certainly not from her headstone If you look up the on line NSW BDM indexes ......... select deaths > type in Elsie M ( usually best not to type in full middle name) surname ROBERTSON d1963 Info on this ladies death will come up She died 1963 ref # 7138 Burwood, daughter of William H & Jane . From her headstone she was 74 yo , so b c 1888 If you then go into births ....... type in surname BAKER> Elsie M > father William H >mother Jane that will show a birth registered in Gunning ( thats nr Yass) If you take out the name Elsie and leave that blank and type in 1880 - 1890 it will throw up 2 more births to those parents ...... Agnes SA BAKER b 1886 and Emma T b 1888 who was Elsies twin Doesnt look like this Wm Hy and Jane were married in NSW? A William BAKER died at Gunning 1891 , son of a William & a Mary A . Hard to say from the indexes if this was the same person ? Looks like this BAKER family moved to the Parramatta area early 1900s Emma F BAKER m 1913 Granville ............ Charles RALPH b 1918 was in the Australian Army in WW2 www.ww2roll.gov.au Hope this is enough to get you going in the right direction . BAKER is a fairly common surname so you need to get some paper work behind your research Bye MargM Beautiful Central Coast of NSW
