    3. Hello list, To all those who've been following the emails from Dot Robertson in Qld who is trying to research her family: I contacted Dot off list and phoned her as I also live in Qld. Dot is 65 years of age and has only been using a computer since February. You'll remember from one of her previous emails that she mentioned she couldn't get anywhere on the BDM website. We discovered that the reason was that after she clicked "search now" she didn't realise that because of the way her computer is set up that all she had to do was scroll down to see the results of her search. Something as simple as that. I know myself that I found computers very daunting when I first started but a lot of tolerant people out there helped me with the basics too. Dot is now on her way to becoming a super sleuth. I say good on you Dot for having a go. You'll be the one helping us with our research queries in no time at all. Cheers, Di
