Dot, is it possible for you to have chats with others about your particular interest, off the ANS site? I have found that it is best to reply to people's personal emails rather than going through the listserve site; I don't wish to bank up other people's email addresses with my particular interests. I also have three computers that I work from and receive duplicte emails to all three. It can become a long exercise to have to delete emails that are not relevant to the list. From when I started this list about 5 years ago I had it set so that its someone hit reply to all the reply did just that, reply just went to the person When I have replied on this list and others if its of possible general interest then I reply to all if it a 'Thanks for the info ' then just to who ever supplied the info How ever a great many people just reply to who ever ask the question and no one learns anything . All these Q & A's were relevant as showed some basic steps on how to look up info . Why 3 computers anyway ? and downloading the same to all .? Why not down load list mail just on one ? .
