Lesley, you did not give a date. There was more than one private hospital in Marrickville Road eg Allerton Private Hospital which I think may have had a different name at different times. I am absolutely positive, as not only was I born there, but it my aunt was the matron and owner. I know of a gentleman born in a hospital in Marrickville Road, and we are not sure but think it could have been another one. Joan
