I did a similar trip to Balmain Rozelle area of Sydney a few years ago. Most of the houses in Balmain and Rozelle are still as they were in the 50s and prior......................not the homes of my grandparents and gt grandmother. One was a cute little weatherboard semi and now it is a two story cement rendered modern home..............the other, well it had been bulldozed and there was a vacant block of land.......They must be one of the few homes that are not in their original state..........just my luck.
