Can someone help me here? Old family homes. I would love to know of any information on a house at 38 Roslyndale Ave., Woollahra. The house is called 'Roslyndale', built and lived in by my first family into Australia, William Lennon. The house is dated 1856, information gathered from the Australian Archives. William actually arrived about 1838 and died as a 'Gentleman. He was a stockbroker. Any information on this house or William Lennon would be gratefully received. TIA Lesley
I suggest you contact the Historical Society for that area. Hi to the list, I wonder if anyone could help me locate a photo of the relevant part of Church Street, Parramatta where my maternal grandfather ran "The Green Coupon Store" c.1930? The family all lived on the premises while my mother & 3 siblings were growing up, and I have many stories passed down but unfortunately none of them includes a street number. Cheers....Yvonne (in a very sticky Melbourne)
