Hi Dianne Yes to all State records have a indexes to divorces to 1974 in a large series of fiche They have the surviving files up to 1930 & you can get copy for just cost of photocopying the docs Has > anyone done this and how much are the papers please? For 1931 -1974 you need to apply via the NSW Supreme Court . Cost is approx $55 plus photocopying which was $2.20 per A4 page a couple of years ago Aside from divorce files State Records have a deal of other info on divorces .... They have random transcripts of complete court cases, judges note books etc . For any divorce before about 1939 , providing you have some dates it can be worth while checking out The Truth newspapers, on film at the NSW State Library If you type 'divorce' into State Records ' site search' on its main page a lot of refs will come up HTH Bye MargM Sydney List Admin
