I would like to find out what happened to my third cousin, Laurel DAVIS, born in Auburn NSW in about 1918. She was the daughter of Vincent Kempton DAVIS and Rosa Gladys Langdon BLANDFORD. Vincent and Rosa, and their three sons, Vincent, Lester and Clifford (just 2) all drowned in a flash-flood at Stanwell Park in January 1933. They were camping near the creek when a severe storm caused the creek to break its banks and everyone was swept away as they tried to make their way to safety in the darkness. Three brave men saved Laurel, 15 at the time, and I would like to know what happened to her - was she looked after by other members of her family ? I found a possible marriage for her to Robert Charles Wall in 1938 and he died in 2004(Ryerson Index - I will have to go back to the library and look that up, now) but I have not found a death record for her in the NSW BDMs or Ryerson Index. She could still be alive somewhere and I would love to know Diane Cole -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
