My grandmother did her midwifery training at something called "The Home Training School and Lying-In Hospital" Stanley St., Newtown in 1901-1902, could this be relevant ? I have never been able to find anything further about it. Cheers, Lynne

This might help. I typed Marrickville Hospital into Google and a lot of websites came up. I worked for an ENT Surgeon in the late 1970's and he used to operate there and held an OP Clinic there every week. I don't know if it is still being used as a General Hospital. Hilda Cooper, Sydney.
