Hi Chris, Between June and August 1984, according to my great-grandfather's account book, he was doing work for Mr Backhouse of Darley or Darling Street (I can't quite work it out). The work was valued at 32 pounds. Other work was being done for him through 1895, and then again in 1896, this time Mr Backhouse - Belmore St. I'm afraid that's all I can tell you regarding this name.
