    3. Dear Patsy, MARRICKVILLE has always been a suburb of SYDNEY. It is in fact very close to the city as opposed to the newer suburbs. If you look in the Sands Directory of Sydney Residents which finished publication in 1932-3 you may find where they lived. Look under MARRICKVILLE council. At the start of that council area you will find the statistics for the area. Patrick and Mary appear to have had no children up to 1918. That information is on CD. Mary did not leave an estate. That information is on microfiche from the Supreme Court. In New Zealand you may have to turn to a Genealogical Society to get the Sands Directory. She never married until 1923 so I am picking no family until after that anyway.. I will checkout the Sands directory as soon as I can this is most helpful cheers from over the ditch Patsy
