Hello, I am researching the name TURNELL - my g.grandmother Elizabeth (Young) PERRY and her first husband, William PERRY, had a daughter, Elizabeth b. 23.7.1866, 'Wivenhoe', Cobbitty NSW. She married Richard TURNELL b. Bethnal Green, England in 1859 to Richard Turnell & Elizabeth Ann HOLMER, on 14th March 1885 They had three children, Richard St. Johns Turnell, b. Petersham 6.10.1885: Ida St. Johns Turnell, b. Camperdown 4.1.1890, d. 1891: Leslie St. Johns Turnell, b.12.3.1892, Drummoyne. Richard's occupation was Building Contractor: in 1927 he was residing 204 Military Road, Cremorne: 1932-3 resided at 66 Grosvenor Street, Cremorne. According the AIF WW1 records of Richard's brother-in-law, James John Jones,also known as James John Black (from Elizabeth Perry's 2nd marriage toWm.
