    3. Dear Graham, In 1848 Wellingrove was a run of 50,000 acres on the Severn river near present day Glen Innes. Today the name applies to a township and to a parish in the County of Gough. A google map should pinpoint the town for you. At the back of my mind is the thought that in times gone by Wellingrove as registration district for BDM covered more than just the parish. Today one wouldn't consider it to be part of Tamworth, but back in 1839 one of my rels held a licence for a run adjoining Wellingrove and that property has often been reported as being at Tamworth. Name changes with time just add to the challenges. Cheers, Jocelyn
