Hi: According to a death certificate Forbes Steele was of Brethren faith. He lived in Fairfield West. The minister was H. Peden. This was in 1962. Does anyone know which church this minister was at, and how to contact them? Thanks for your help. Jean
Hi Jean, I can only speak here about Exclusive Bretheren. My partner is ex-Exclusive Bretheren, and will no doubt know something about this. He is in bed with a bad cold and I will ask him when he is suffiently awake. However, if it is Exclusive Bretheren, there is no one to contact. There is no church as such, just meeting houses, nor are there ministers in the Bretheren. You will find it quite hard to get any information except from people who have left. Having said that, because they mix only with themselves everyone knows everyone else and they travel extensively to other meetings all over the place. So the people who have left knew a wide variety of Bretheren. I will get back to you later this morning once he's up and about.
