Greetings Listers In slowly re-creating the long lost burial register of the long disappeared Balmain Catholic cemetery, I have discovered multiple burials for the names listed above, they were probably family groups, living in the Balmain area. I would be happy to exchange information with anyone with an interest in these families and as always would be delighted to hear from nyone who thinks they had someone buried at this cemetery

    3. Hi All A Hyland family owned a shoe store on the corner of Victoria Road and Darling Street Rozelle for many many years. The site is now a furniture store. Hylands Shoe Store are still in business though, but now located further down Victoria Road towards the city. I remember a Patricia Hyland who lived at Rozelle when I was younger. So maybe there are still ancestors in the area who would be interested in your find, and all your hard work. .
