Good Morning List, Last night I had a call about Family Tree Maker on the net. After looking at it I have found information there is not correct. Is anyone on the list familiar with how to find the submitter of the information, or how it can be corrected? Sincerely,Bill
Bill I have generally found a contact on the site where the tree is displayed.. Hello Bill, In reply to your question re Family Tree Maker, I purchased the 2006 version from SAG so perhaps they may be able to help you. Family Tree Maker is an American programme and does not help with Australian messages for me but it is a very clear and helpful programme for recording research. I am unable to get out now to do any research as I have a bad knee and have booked to have a replacement. I have lots of records on my dad's family but although my grandparents were Irish and married after migrating to Aust. These were my mother's parents but I knew they settled in The Glebe area and died in the same place. You kindly sent me a record on my grandfather being a Cab Prop in Sydney in the 1800's. Unfortunately, I cannot find further information in Ireland although I have both sets of parents from a Marriage Cert. of both John Shannon married Catherine Keogh. He came from Cavan County and Catherine from County Wicklow. -----Original Message----- From: aus-nsw-sydney-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-nsw-sydney-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Bill Shute Sent: Friday, 11 May 2007 8:01 AM To: aus-nsw-sydney@rootsweb.com Subject: [ANS] Family Tree Maker on www Good Morning List, Last night I had a call about Family Tree Maker on the net.
