I am searching for the family of my Uncle Noel Pickering who emigrated to Australia, arriving in Sidney January 1st 1947 on the Largs Bay ship. He travelled by free passage as an ex-serviceman in the British forces WW2. I have been searching for this family member since 1986 and would like to know where he lived, whether he married and if there are descendants in Australia who would like to know more about their family history. I have traced the family line to a John who died in 1716 having married three times and produced sixteen children.
