Hi all, I have just found an electoral enrolment entry for a relative giving his address as 109 Doncaster Ave Kensington and his occupation as gaol. Do assume that he was in prison? And if so which one? thanks, Sharon
Dear Sharon, What time frame? I would check Prison Department staff records. He was probably a warder at Long Bay Gaol. That way he is on the right side of the fence, which may disappoint. Sincerely, Bill > > I have just found an electoral enrolment entry for a relative giving his > address as 109 Doncaster Ave Kensington and his occupation as gaol. > > Do assume that he was in prison?
