Hi Listers I have a RICHARD POMEROY born 1846 in Cork, Ireland, and died 1925 at Granville in Sydney (so the BMDs tell me). He and his wife Eva Edith Pocock divorced in 1911, and the reason for this query is if someone who has access to one of those early postal directories pre 1925 just might be able to give me an idea where he was residing precisely and more importantly (and if listed) what his occupation was. I have the rest of his siblings and their lives but this Richard is proving the more elusive one to round off his bits and pieces. It is beginning to look like he was the black sheep of the family or just had a wandering urge making it awfully hard to nail his life story. I know it is a long shot but just thought I would drop it on the group incase I have missed something.
