For recording purposes, the ladies always keep their maiden names. You could use David BLACK's "Notes" to record that his wife, Anne JONES, had previously been married to John SMITH. Using PAF 5; I am not to sure how to record a female's 2nd or subsequent marriage. For example: Anne JONES marries John SMITH (She then becomes Anne SMITH) For whatever reason; Anne later marries David BLACK (She is then Anne BLACK) The problem then as I see it is; when I open up the record of David BLACK: I find he married Anne JONES; when in fact; he didn't marry Anne JONES; he married Anne SMITH? How do other List Members record such events, so that when the record of David BLACK is opened; it's quite obvious that he married Anne SMITH and not Anne JONES?
