Archives Investigator simple search spits out 22 refs to 'books'. Probate packets and D E files would be one of the more popular items .How come will books have been hidden away ????....... Maybe was out of site out of mind ??? Are these huge ledgers ??. What time period do they cover ??How did you trip over these ?? Amazing find ! bye MargM Sydney List Admin
Marg thats what I thought. I had never heard of them but a few weeks ago I was looking for probates and Rachel suggested that I try for the will books.....I was amazed that they existed and that I did not know about them. I was able to get a couple of wills. Not all are available .I had one that was not in a fit state to be viewed,,,not sure why, but I did get to see a couple . I will have another look next time I am out there. Makes you wonder what else is hiding out there. I will let you kow if I find any more "secret files' Kaye www.teapotgenealogy.com ----- Original Message ----- From:
