Dear Mark, I sent a reply to you, however it was rejected. Thank you so much for all that wonderful information re the Gallard family. My side of the family is Wm. Thos. Barnes who married Isobel Gallard. I haven't had time to go through all the information you have so kindly sent to me, however once we settle down again after tripping around the country, first to Perth & Albany and then to Dunbogan for a rest I will go through it all. I am not sure if I mentioned that we lived in Ryde for 30+ years and during that time we lived opposite a family called Gallard - they had a beautiful old home on the corner of Inkerman Road and Pennant Avenue and they worked in their beautiful garden every day. It was an absolute picture, there was a purple carpet every year when the most beautiful Jacaranda trees were in bloom. I have no idea of their christian names and whilst they were always polite and friendly they kept very much to themselves. Once again, thank you. My kind regards, Joan Colmer.
