Hi Dianna, buying transcriptions etc can be a costly business so why not drop a hint to family members who are often racking their brains and scratching their heads in trying to think of that special something to buy their loved ones (who already has everything) as a gift for Christmas or Birthday . The fact that it is 'an affordable gift' and is 'just what you wanted' will give them much satisfaction, and relief. It works particularly well for the more expensive Irish transcriptions where various family members will be only to happy to chip in. Hi Max That's actualley a great idea about buying transcripts etc for a gift, I'm often asked by friends what I would like for my birthday etc. if this will costs $50.00 that would be a good present. I'm actually going to contact the lands title office just to see if they can tell me who Tressies house passed to may have her daughters surname and that would save some hassle. Thanks a lot Dianna
