Hello MargM, On Saturday last I sent an email to the ANS list. I have not seen the email reposted to me as normal. I have tried with both my emails and niether was bounced back as a wrong address. Has there been some problem with the system. Could it be that I am blocked for some reason. I am getting other emails from the list so it is not because I am blocking them although I did check. Any suggestions welcome. Regards Peter Wadham.

Greetings listers Many will know that for many years I have been recreating the lost burial register of the long disappeared Balmain Catholic cemetery I am almost finished this task and plan to publish in November But to turn over the last stone, so to speak does any lister have a death certificate where the death was between 1857 and 1868 where the officiating priest was J J Therry If anyone does have such a DC please contact me as it may solve the last puzzle about the old cemetery Fingers crossed Patrick Callaghan
Thank you Terry. I will tuck the two Robert Walls away just in case. Regards Jane

Yes, that is curious re: Sophia but the first time was in a Registry Office in VIC and the second was a religious affair we believe instigated by Sophia's Father-in-Law the Rev.Irving Hetherington. So any records come under The Colony of NSW , Same applied to early VIC and very early TAS records. I just checked the early Qld BDMs CD and he's listed as Tom John McKAY b 6 Apr 1858 ref # 95529 to Donald & Catherine . They also had another son, John in 1856 Unsure whether this 1858 Moreton Bay record would be included in the NSW early church record films ?? Be worth checking as Qld BDM certs now cost $37 or $38 ?
