    3. Hilda I looked at the Victorian Marriages and couldn't find until any name until 1942. I even tried putting *ard for a surname and *udge just in case he changed his name to his mothers. I then tried the Victorian Inquest Cd but again no luck. I then tried the same for the NSW Indexes and also looked in the Ryerson Index on line and did the same, but could not find him. Have you tried looking at the Electoral roll for Tumut for 1930 and then tried coming forward? Sorry I could not help any more. Regards Joy Light

    3. I thought I would add my little bit to this thread. If any one wants to reply off line, just go to rootsweb mailing lists, look up the list you are interested in and go to browse, this will bring up a list of years and months. Open up for December 2006 and pick out the mail you would like to answer off line and away you go. I do this sometimes, when I don't want my mail on the list. genie.

    3. Hi Hilda, Royalene, Bill etc who answered my request to not 'chat' on the list to everyone - sometimes there is not an email address to actually reply to and have no choice but to go thru the list. When there is an email address it is easy to just copy and paste. Another tip was to put into my email address book in my inbox but that doesn't suit me as sometimes is the case that I don't want to keep the address as it might just be a 'one off conversation' Margaret suggested I hit reply and they should all come up but this didn't happen. . Just make sure the address you want to chat to Thanks everyone anyhow. 3. Hi! Di, Thankyou ever so much for your help. I made a nig mistake with Edna Williamson, It was Enid Kermode that married Stanley Bert Thompson. I BIG BOO BOO. I was only very young when my family moved to the country and all was lost with our reletives. I do know that Edna married and she died in 1965 .One week after our father was killed in a car on his way home from work. That was in Parramatta 21-6-1965. I don't remeber Edna's married name. It has been difficult to trace any of our family. Thankyou so much for the link to the Ryerson Index. I am very grateful. Gloria. 3. Hi Gloria, Edna Violet Williamson married Roger Bede O'Donahue at Newtown in 1946 and she died at Balmain in 1965. This info can be found online at: www.bdm.nsw.gov.au Click "Family History" and just follow the links. Roger Bede O'Donahue died aged 71 in 1985. I found this on the Ryerson Index. Roger also served in WW2 and you can request a copy of his service records if you want. Hope this helps. Here is the link for the Ryerson Index: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nswsdps/dpsindex.htm If you click on "Requesting a lookup" it will tell you how to go about getting someone to do a lookup of the Death Notice for you. The notice may give more information on her family, names of children, grandchildren, where she's buried, where she lived etc. As for Edna I can't find a record on NSW Births, Deaths and Marriages of her marrying a Stanley Bert Thompson.
