Dear Maree, I didn't suggest she married, just that the Salvation Army have had a lot to do with tracking children. There were a lot of "informal" adoptions about that time, some even advertising in the newspaper columns, in a discreet way. Do you know when and where she died? Without making any reference to any relationship, I wonder if in her Last Will and Testament she left the daughter something.
