    3. Hi Jenelle I have spoken to the relatives of Pte Robert Francis Collins. They have looked at the once piece of paperwork they have on him, and although it mentions his mother giving him permission to enlist for WW1, it does not mention her name. The relatives know he was 17 when he enlisted, in 1915, so this makes his DOB in 1894. I have done a brief check with BDM and found there was a Robert F Collins born in 1894 at Grafton to parents Margaret and Thomas E. Do know that Robert Collin's family did live in Manly (Pacific St) for most of his life. I guess that without obtaining his WW1 service records from National Archives, I cant be sure, and I dont think the records would be available in time for the honour board unveiling. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 3. Tanya, I guess people have told you about the naa.gov.au and the awm.gov.au, (tell them you want his name on a honour board and they might speed up the request), I was interested in the name, as my g/grandfather had a son Robert and another Samuel, (we know where that name originated), also the name THOMAS is through the line. I've got a missing 2 x g/grandfather who could have remarried and had another family, more a curiosity thing now. Jenelle. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mrs Tanya Chalker <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, April 15, 2003 8:39 AM Subject: Re: [A-NSW-S] Descendents of Pte Robert COLLINS, WW1 of Manly > Hi Jenelle > > I have spoken to the relatives of Pte Robert Francis Collins.
