    3. Dear Joy, The Newton family should have plenty of records in NSW. If you go to the NSW BDM site: http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/. The birth records stop for privacy at 1905. My God-father was a Newton and one of 14 children, as I said there should be plenty of records.     3. Hi Paul and Judy Many thanks for responding. I have searched the bmd for my Newton's and have found the entries for the years available and have transcriptions. My attempts at finding their descendants are running thin. Now I am following connected lines in the hope of finding a connection somewhere. I have placed postings on rootsweb and Australian online names directory (etc)and have advertised in the Sydney Morning Herald and Daily telegraph. Genealogy is the fastest growing hobby ( after home improvements) and I am told that many Australians trace their ancestry, but it appears not mine. Perhaps my family are busy transforming their homes!!
