Rathbone for The Council of the Municipality of Rockdale ISBN 0 7316 3707 0 The above book has several references to Ald John Bowmer . photo of John and Eliza Bowmer, and Bowmer St. Also has several references to Ald Charles Napper and mentions an area 'locally known as "Napper's Bush". Rathbone Pub 1995 ISBN 0 646 24639 9 has a profile on John Bowmer and Charles Napper, Clarence William Napper.
