Rathbone for The Council of the Municipality of Rockdale ISBN 0 7316 3707 0 The above book has several references to Ald John Bowmer . photo of John and Eliza Bowmer, and Bowmer St. Also has several references to Ald Charles Napper and mentions an area 'locally known as "Napper's Bush". I feel sure you would be able to obtain both of these books through Inter Library exchange. From: "They Also Served" Men & Women Elected to Rockdale Council (1871- 1995) By R.W. Rathbone Pub 1995 ISBN 0 646 24639 9 has a profile on John Bowmer and Charles Napper, Clarence William Napper. Possibly have other books that may have info but I've just arrived home after 10 days away. Please let me know if you have any problems obtaining the above.
