Hi everyone I write with good news. Some of you may remember I was looking for descendants of Charles Henry Newton and Sarah Ann Hughes nee Genders. A little reminder; Sarah's children were Daisy, Lily, Coronella, and Robert Hughes. Coronella married Alfred J Campey and Robert married Ruby Trew. Charles and Sarah had 2 children Sarah Ann Newton born Lithgow 1890 married Harold Evans and Charles Henry Newton born 1892. I placed an advert in the Sydney Herald and someone recognised one of the Newton/Evans descendants and told him he was in the newspaper. I received a wonderful letter from them last week. A little more research and just this morning I have spoken to Coronella's grand-daughter. After a long trawI trying to find my family all the hard work has paid off. I am now organising a trip to Sydney will be there in July-August. This is to say a very BIG BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has helped, researched, offered thoughts and advice. I would never have got this far without you all there to guide me on the way. I really cannot thank you all enough. Extra special thanks go to Bill (Gold Coast), Alison, Robin, Julieann and Lynne who have gone beyond the call of duty. Apologies if I have forgotten anyone. Kind regards joy
