Hi, I am currently researching the BANCROFT family. SAMUEL BANCROFT married CHARLOTTE FLETCHER. Not sure when they came to Australia or if they were born here?? I only know of the following children but there could be more - GEORGE .F. died 1870 (George died in Sydney - he was an infant) JOHN .D. married ?? (John was born in QLD, I think??) FRANK.F. married MARIA BEEHAG (Frank was born 1871, Sydney) ANNIE.T. married JOHN HERBERT BAMFORTH (Annie was born in QLD) I know that the family came from Queensland to NSW around 1869-1870. CHARLOTTE died in 1894 at Rockdale (parent's - FRANCIS & CHARLOTTE). That is all of the info I have. I would love to hear from any descendants who may have info etc. on this family.
