Hi I am new to this list and thought I would post my direct ancestors surname. SOLOMON KERSHAW and his wife ANNE BUTTERWORTH emigrated to Australia early 1800's. Their son JAMES KERSHAW born in Manchester also emigrated and married MARY ANN MARCH also from England. Mary Ann was the daughter of THOMAS JAMES MARCH AND CHARLOTTE THOMESTON PLUMMER who both came over from England as well. Most of the family lived in the Gundaroo, Bungendore, Yass, Queanbeyan, Gunning, Braidwood areas. I have a fair bit of info to share and would like to contact other researchers with interests in this family.
