He was married to Bridget Tower. I have very little info on him so far. There appears to have been 3 daughters (one was Jane, my ancestor) and a son Lawrence. If you are connected or have any info, would love to hear from you. Regards Katrina
Hi Katrina Thank you for replying and sharing your barber info. The BARBER's I am researching arrived in Sydney in 1889, from the UK. John and Caroline and their children Annie, William, there was another child but at the moment have no name. Unfortunately, no known connection. Good luck with your research Happy hunting!! joy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Katrina" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2004 11:39 PM Subject: Re: [A-NSW-S] Barber > On Mon, 16 Feb 2004 14:09:54 -0000, you wrote: > > >researching the BARBER family possible connections are DOYLE and CUNYGAME > >Would like to hear from anyone researching the above names > >kind regards > >joy > > Hi Joy > > I'm researching James Barber who was discharged from the 17th regiment > in Sydney 1836.
