Dear Betty, Hi! The mob of rascals I belong to contains some Sutherlands, me dear old Mum being one. They are descended from John Moad Sutherland of Caithness in Scotland. He came out here in 1863, married a lady named Matilda SophiaTuckett and proceeded to produce, with the ladys help, a brood of 14 kids, one of whom was my Grandfather. Very sage man the old grandfather was, his advise to all was not to get married and bring your kids up the same way. He did, nine of his children where born out of wedlock, including Mum. As stated earlier, a mob of rascals. John Moad Sutherlands family spread from Victoria into NSW, some or one of them may be related to you. Do you have any detail you can share with me on your Sutherlands? Cheers Mate Paul Kinney >From: [email protected] >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: AUS-NSW-SURNAMES-D Digest V04 #201 >Date: Wed, 22 Sep 2004 17:28:25 -0600 > >Content-Type: text/plain > >AUS-NSW-SURNAMES-D Digest Volume 04 : Issue 201 > >Today's Topics: > #1 CAMPBELL ["Betty Catterall" ><[email protected]] > #2 Re: [A-NSW-S] CAMPBELL [ebail <[email protected]>] > #3 RE: [A-NSW-S] CAMPBELL ["chris higgs" ><[email protected]] > #4 RE: [A-NSW-S] CAMPBELL ["Darren Collison" ><[email protected]] > >Administrivia: >To unsubscribe from AUS-NSW-SURNAMES-D, send a message to > > [email protected] > >that contains in the body of the message the command > > unsubscribe > >and no other text.
