and now for somehting totally unrelated: For any subscribers who DO NOT LIKE a bit a light hearted banter now and again, or who feel that they should rip bits off people on this list, let me remind you of something, I am actually List admin, and what i say goes, I tend not to appear very often, this list has some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with online, and everyone gets on with whatever they are doing with no intervention from me, I just maintain any "backroom" stuff that needs admin attention, so if anyone has a problem with any email that anyone has posted to this list, take it up WITH ME IN MY PERSONAL INBOX [email protected] DO NOT RIP BITS OF ANOTHER SUBSCRIBER, you only get one warning for this as its totally uncalled for!!!!! your options are very clear, bring it to me and I will deal with it OFF LIST, delete the email that you don't like and forget about it, or you can unsubscribe!!! but the phrase "get a lfe" comes to mind!!! the answer to the question you are all now asking yourselves is YES, someone has complained to me about a subscriber ripping bits off another on this list!!! Unfortunately due to family bereavement I have not been around much and it was way past the event when I got to see it, nevertheless I am unimpressed about it, this list doesn't operate that way!! and NO I am not disclosing names. Finally, to any new subscribers over the last few (well quite a few) weeks, if you have not received a personal note from me welcoming you to the list, please accept my apologies, I usually do welcome you, unfortunatly, the family bereavement was preceded by a short but violent illness, and I was away caring for the person.
