Jenelle I saw the story - it was terrible - Nimmo is a common Irish name and the location of the Nimmos in the story was Victoria so it's probable they are not the family my family married into - although I wont rule it out. It's strange how families - or those interested in knowing about them can just disappaer. I've posted before about these names and yours is only the second response I've ever had. Hi Phillipa, I have connection to the name Cohen. My information includes Elizabeth Nash married to Thomas William Cohen in 1844 Sydney. They had ten children mostly they were in Balmain, but Henry Goldsborough Cohen (no.7 child) and Charles Cowper Cohen's(no.8 child) wife Rose Lynch came from Randwick.
