Does anyone have any connection with or thoughts about how I might track down more information about Bernard Curran Bernard Curran was the ninth child of Daniel Curran and Susan Patton and was born on the 2nd December 1868 in Warrenheip Victoria Australia. There are two strange occurrences regarding the birth Bernard. The first strange occurrence is, according to the coroners report, that his mother had expired within two hours after giving birth to Bernard, due to massive hemorrhaging caused by the lack of experience of the attending midwife. The second strange occurrence was that he was registered twice, once in Bungaree Victoria Australia, birth registration number 1108/1869, and once in Buninyong Victoria Australia, birth registration number 1972/1869, it is unclear as to the reason for the second registration In addition to Bernard there were eight other children born in Australia, 1. John was born on the 4/2/1861, however, tragedy struck and he died 9 days after his 1st birthday on the 13/4/1862 2.
