Dear Brian I have also just started looking at the family history - but try the Society of Geneaolgists who are very helpful (I don't know if they have a web site but try - otherwise theeir address is 14 Charterhouse Buildings, Goswell Road, London EC1M 7BA. And the National Archives at Kew, Surrey TW9 4DU holds birth, marriages and deaths records, so you may be able to trace relatives there. Good luck Anne
