    3. Hi List, Forget my comment about there not being a link at the bottom of birth/death results for Church codes.There wouldn't be as people don't have their birth or death registered in a Church do they!!!!. It was a senior moment so bear with me:) Rob Dubbo

    3. Ah, but Rob, The early church records (pre 1856) are not birth/death records, they are baptism/burial records, so they are "registered" in the church. Civil registration (of birth and death and also of course marriage) didn't begin in NSW until 1856. So the early church record codes related to baptism, marriage and burial.
