Hello from Queensland. We have just found another person with contacts to our Montgomery family in Australia. Rees - MONTGOMERY The lady is Marg Hunt and I cannot get her on the net. Does anyone know this lady who has done a lot of research and has a large family tree ? ....I would be grateful...Thelma William Henry MONTGOMERY was born 1849 Sussex U.K. He arrived Sydney 1870 as a sailor on "Galatea". He married Emily Pepper in 1874 at Hunter River N.S.W. having issue 10 Montgomery children between Sydney, Greta, Waterloo, Newcastle and Hamilton.... Names:- George Henry born U.K./died 1875 N.S.W. Twins John & James born 1876 Waterloo Marion born 1878 at Greta Twins William and Henry born 1879 at Greta Emily Kate born 1881 at Greta Hamilton born 1883 at Newcastle Annabell born 1885 at Newcastle Thomas Rowland born 1887 at Hamilton Other linked names to Montgomery /Pepper are Watson, Skelton, Whiting, Newton, Jones,McMurtrie, Ashcroft, Pickles etc...
