I am going through my genealogy files and getting rid of duplicates, those that don't belong and I found: Marriage registered in NSW for a John Brush to Frances Moore which took place on December 28, 1869 -- he was a widower and she a spinster and both were born in Ireland. There is other information, such as the name of the Church, et al. Birth for: (1) Alice, whose parents are John and Frances Moore Brush, was born on October 17, 1870 John is 56 and Frances is 38 Complete, that is city and country, birth place of both parents, as well as other information, including gives names of witnesses to the birth (2) Frederick, whose parents are John and Frances Moore Brush, was born on April 19, 1872. John is 58 and Frances is 40. Gives names of witnesses to the birth. (3) William, whose parents are John and Frances Moore Brush, was born on August 13, 1874. John is 60 and Frances is 43. Record shows that there is 1 male and 2 females living, and 1 female deceased. There is an endorsement: 2nd marriage: 1869 in Sydney with 1 male and 1 female living. I guess that must pertain to John and his first marriage since he was a widower when he married Frances. (4) Death certificate for William Brush, a male 20 years of age, died on March 13, 1895. There are additional columns which include: "cause of death, duration of last illness, , et al and the name and occupation of father and the name and maiden surname of the mother, and then the informant is shown as Fred Brush, brother. Other information in more columns. (5) Death certificate of Frederick Brush, a male 25 years , 11 months, died on March 16, 1898. Informant was Alice Brush, sister. (6) Death certificate of Frances Moore Brush, female 80 years, who died on July 28, 1912. Informant was Alice, Brush, daughter. (7) Death certificate of John Brush, male 59 years old. Parents: John Brush and Louisa Smith. Informant is B. H. Brush, son. (8) Death certificate of John Reginald Brush, male 8 months old. Parents: Alfred Brush and Lavinia Wallington. Informant is Alfred Brush, father. I will be happy to send any and all of the certificates to someone who belongs to them. I must have ordered them over the years and found that they are not mine. My John and Maria Brown Moore had a daughter named Frances Eliza, and someone told me she married a "Brush" but this is not mine. Please do contact me off list so that we do not bother anyone!!!
